Recommended Posted June 14, 2025 on Steam Okay, So I've tested this game for about 16,400 hours... think I should request for a refund... can I get the Arma 4 for free? -
Recommended Posted June 22, 2025 on Steam Not a review of the game, but of time gone by. I don’t hate this game. I can’t. It gave me some of the best memories I’ve had in gaming, late nights with the squad, ops that went horribly wrong (or perfectly right), laughter in comms, and that sense of brotherhood only a few games can give. But time moves on. Veterans leave. Old friends disappear. Squads break apart. Now, I log in... and the server feels quiet. Something’s missing. Not because the game changed but because we did. If you're new, there's still something special here. A deep, tactical, unforgiving game with endless possibility. If you're like me, maybe you’re just chasing ghosts in the fog of Tanoa. 10/10 for what it was, and what it still can be. -
Recommended Posted August 18, 2025 on Steam "Arma 3 is not a game, it’s a lifestyle." I logged in expecting a casual military shooter. 3 hours later I was crawling through a bush because my squad leader told me to hold position while he went to make a sandwich. Another time, I spent 45 minutes meticulously planning a helicopter assault with 12 random strangers from the internet. The chopper immediately clipped a tree, exploded, and we all died. 10/10 would brief again. The graphics are gorgeous, the guns feel amazing, but the real feature is the chat full of guys screaming "MEDIC!" after tripping over a small rock. It’s the only game where you can: Break your legs jumping 2 feet. Spend 2 hours in silence driving a truck to the frontline, then instantly get blown up by a goat. Accidentally call in an airstrike on your own squad and still get thanked for "keeping it immersive." Arma 3 doesn’t just test your aim — it tests your patience, teamwork, and ability to stay awake during a 4-hour convoy. Final Verdict: 11/10. Not a game. A military-grade friendship simulator with occasional war crimes. -
Recommended Posted October 11, 2025 on Steam Joined a RP server, found a gun, then a car, drove around for 5 min, found some people, they made me their slave, got my gun, killed them, then got called the n-word... 10/10 game -
Recommended Posted February 16, 2026 on Steam After 4620 hours, i must say this game is hot garbage but not because of what you think... The Game itself is a horrible mess of spaghetti code... However the community has made this game unique, i've been always loud about how Arma decides to run itself how it likes, one day it works fine, next day it won't... That's just the experience of Milsim arma that i had all my time since arma 2... If anyone ask me if i recommend arma to anyone? Yes i would, but i would warn them that arma is a annoying of the frequent crashes, lags or other problems which can influence a player enjoyment... I myself, i love this game, no matter how many crashes, how many horrible communities, no matter how much modding frustrates me or the fact that i do tech support for the group that i'm in... I will always say arma is something you should try... But i will also say that i recommend finding a group to play it with, either with a Clan, Group of friends, or your best buddy... I know this game had a elitism or veteran ego problem especially in the milsim scene which has improved immensely... Which i have to say, Play what you love, Play what you want, do not let others dictated how you should enjoy arma... Don't let anyone push you into something you dislike. Arma 3, 9/10. A Unique Experience that can both make you hate and love it at the same time. -
Recommended Posted October 12, 2025 on Steam Arma 3 is that game where you spend 2 hours planning a mission and die 3 seconds after stepping out of the helicopter. You’ll crawl for 10 minutes through the bushes just to get sniped by a dude you’ll never see. And somehow… you’ll love every second of it. Free PTSD simulator. 10/10 would get blown up by friendly fire again.
