Ashes of Creation

Ashes of Creation

Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. The world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. Cities will rise and fall, their populations based on the history of the world as the players create it. Quests will unlock as these populations gather, their needs grow, and secrets are unlocked. As the world’s NPC structure is established in real time, players will have the ability to destroy what they’ve created, paving the way for new development, new populations, and real change. Political strife and intrigue will play a very real role in the structure of your world. Gone are the days of static worlds, change is here to stay.

  • Not recommended Posted February 1, 2026 on Steam Since Ashes of Creation will be shutting down soon, purchasing the game right now might be a bad idea.
  • Not recommended Posted February 1, 2026 on Steam Ashes is officially cancelled. Now is the time to get steam to recognize this as a scam nad subsequent rug pull and to REQUEST A REFUND. Got to Help > Steam Support > AOC > Its not what i expected > Reason > Not in the list > Enter this : "Intrepid, the company that created this game had to notify their company 60 days before dissolution via the WARN act that they did not have the funds to keep the game going. Intrepid will be officially dead as of February 2nd, 2026. This product was launched on Steam at a point in time where the WARN act notifications would have to have been implemented at Intrepid. In order to circumvent the WARN act, Steven, the owner of the product, is deflecting governance to a non-existent board, pushing out the WARN act notifications to an official date of today, which would be fraudulent. Intrepid scammed all players by launching this game on Steam to attempt to improve company liquidity. Steam, like the multiple purchasers of this product, was scammed. Please initiate the refund for this product."
  • Not recommended Posted February 1, 2026 on Steam Steam should offer instant refunds for products that come out in early access after years of development just to shut down in a month or two after this. More obvious scam and theft have not been seen in the history of gaming. DISGUSTING!
  • Not recommended Posted February 1, 2026 on Steam Steam needs to seriously investigate this further and hopefully refund anyone that purchased this through them in the past month. With the team "resigning" or being laid off by a board of directors that the community was told would never even exist because of how the game was funded, this reeks of fraud and lies. I know they have a typical strict policy for refunds - 2 hours or less game time played and no longer than 2 weeks after purchase, but there should be some exceptions to the rule. This should have never been allowed to be released on Steam. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. There is no future for Ashes of Creation now. The fact it's still listed on Steam to purchase is a bit concerning.
  • Not recommended Posted February 4, 2026 on Steam Steam support needs to issue refunds for everyone regardless of playtime.
  • Not recommended Posted April 26, 2026 on Steam paid 40 for a game that barely worked in beta and was then discontinued a couple months later with no chance at a refund. Literally a scam.
