  • Recommended Posted October 20, 2025 on Steam Yeah it's good. Maybe a little bit addictive? I would love to elaborate but need to get back to playing it.
  • Recommended Posted November 5, 2025 on Steam This digital crack very VERY addictive. Basically a rougelite brickbreaker with a touch of farming sim. Too bad the end game progression and content is lacking. WE NEED ENDLESS MODE
  • Recommended Posted December 21, 2025 on Steam Who would have thought a roguelite that is part brick breaker, part city builder and part Tetris could be so damn fun? It has a relatively fun gameplay loop which can keep you entertained for hours at a time (or all night if you suffer from 'one more round-itus') It's not too challenging so it's a great game to kick back and relax with. Music is actually pretty good so I'm not always throwing it on mute to listen to things on the side. Has a great cast of characters who all come with their own quirks and require different playstyles. It stops things feeling stale when they aren't all reskinned copies of each other with different weapons. There's actually a lot of thought and creativity put into making them pretty unique to play
  • Recommended Posted October 17, 2025 on Steam Honestly, I don't know how they do it. somehow the vast majority of games Devolver Digital heavily advertises and publishes at various game conference or awards shows are just so damnably fun to play even if the aesthetics are not my cup of tea. You get ALOT of content for 15 dollars. Probably around 25-30 hours to "beat" and 30-50 hours to complete. Each character you unlock have really unique passive or outright change the paradigm of how you approach the level. I am not kidding here nor exaggerating, yet at the same time, I don't want to say exactly HOW because I feel it would spoil the experience. The Devs truly were not afraid to do what sounded fun. EDIT: I can confirm that it took me 25-30 hours to beat the final stage for the first time (assuming the 8th stage is the final stage)
  • Recommended Posted November 25, 2025 on Steam It is pure mindless fun. Never too challenging but always satisfying. It commits fully to the core mantra of "combining things is cool" and just pushes it to the extreme. The town building in between rounds is just as addictive and I was pleasantly surprised at how unique and distinguished they made the unlockable characters. Of course, it's also got the sauce with super satisfying visual and audible feedback which kept the synapses in my monkey brain constantly firing. On top of all that, I also appreciate that the game knows when to stop and doesn't outstay it's welcome. There's a hard end here and after 30 ball induced fugue state hours, I felt satisfied I'd seen it all. There is endgame content like leader boards and harder difficulties, but that wasn't required for the 100% Achievements.
