• Recommended Posted August 5, 2025 on Steam Quality of that of a free/cheap Battlefield with COD gunplay. Enjoyable for $2
• Not recommended Posted June 18, 2025 on Steam Good job adding a "secure-boot" requirement, after the game being out for 4 Years and locking out a majority of the few remaining Players. Can't wait for EA's Downfall
• Not recommended Posted June 27, 2025 on Steam I love battlefield. Played nearly every game since 1942. I haven't got into this one, since it were too expensive, so my wife gifted it to me during the summer sale. 1. Rebooted into Windows (Anti cheat after all, only keep windows around for BF5) 2. Download big ass 100GB game. 3. get asked to enable secure boot. 4. Get annoyed. Reboot a couple of times to enable secure boot. 5. Launch the game finally. 6. Entering 3 different lobbies in 3 different game modes. ALL EMPTY on a FRIDAY EVENING?! DO NOT BUY. Will refund.
• Not recommended Posted March 13, 2026 on Steam
This game actually DEMANDS that you enable Secure Boot in your BIOS to be able to play it... What... In the actual... Fu(k?!?
Long story short, you are forced to enable Secure Boot in your BIOS, otherwise the game just won't start, and I don't even want to begin listing what's wrong with all of this... From potentially bricking your Windows install, to a bug found especially in MSI/GIGABYTE motherboards in which after enabling Secure Boot, everything is functional BUT the motherboard doesn't recognize any dedicated GPUs while sometimes not even POSTing (Power-On Self-Test)... Just...no. I'm gonna stop right here before I get too technical. I mean the list of things that can go wrong by fiddling with the BIOS Secure Boot is so extensive that it's crazy. Unplayable/10 - Such restrictions can only be implemented by mentally challenged people, so I guess now we finally know what kind of r3tards work at DICE (and EA).

• Not recommended Posted July 2, 2025 on Steam Over 400 hours put into this game and now I'm locked out for a "secure boot" option in my PC's bios being disabled? Nah, EA doesn't tell me how to run my PC, nor do they have the right to take away the ability to play a game behind my bios. DO NOT PURCHASE. Anti cheat is a problem for the developers, not the players, so if you can't handle it you make it the player's problem? EA should just stop making games if they are going to ruin the player's experience and refuse to use an anti cheat that functions without looking into the bios of the player's PC for a setting that literally will brick your PC unless it stays left alone. New low in the gaming industry as EA is fighting for Ubisoft's top spot of the biggest morons to date.
