• Recommended Posted March 28, 2026 on Steam As someone who didn't enjoy the first Bendy game due to its boring fetch-quest gameplay, I still gave The Dark Revival a go because I saw potential. The sequel was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. At first, I thought it didn't improve on the first one, and some mechanics were even steps backward. Then, some parts had me thinking, "This is just worse BioShock." But, as the world started to open up, it easily surpassed the first game and became more fluid. By the end, I would say I liked it and am even kinda invested in the Bendy universe, though I still think the gameplay is a little rough around the edges.
