Recommended Posted March 19, 2026 on Steam Normal games: save the world. This game: carefully place ladders so strangers on the internet can save 12 seconds. The sequel somehow made walking even more stressful and relaxing at the same time. I don't understand it. I don't question it. I keep delivering. -
Recommended Posted April 6, 2026 on Steam Bravo Kojima I don't usually spend more than 20 hours with a game unless I liked it but you got me hooked building and fixing roads MORE than MY COUNTRY'S USELESS GOVERNMENT EVER DOES. -
Recommended Posted March 19, 2026 on Steam Peak Graphic and Peak optimization. Finally, someone who knows how to optimize a game. Edit: After updating GPU driver, the performance is even better and smoother. Glory to Kojima 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 -
Recommended Posted March 31, 2026 on Steam This game dude I actually love Hideo Kojima because for once he didn’t make us wait 7–10 business years for a PC port, somehow this came out way faster than expected and that alone already feels like a win Starting with performance, this port by Nixxes Software is smooth like butter, I played around 140 hours and the game crashed only twice which is basically the game politely telling me to go touch grass, only small FPS drops when connecting a new facility with the QPID, overall it runs clean which is rare these days Gameplay wise this is NOT just a delivery simulator anymore now you’re fighting MULEs, CCs, new BTs, and carrying enough weapons to start your own mini army, guns, throwables, gadgets, and somehow you can summon BTs in-combat Also the game is way easier compared to the first one, like the first game made every step feel like life or death and here you’re just more confident, more tools, more freedom, less stress, Kojima basically reduced the pain but kept the confusion The setting is bigger now with Mexico and Australia, but you’re mostly in Australia Traversal got a huge upgrade, you can build roads AND MONORAILS, and trust me connecting a whole continent feels more satisfying than it should, and if that wasn’t enough you can now ride a coffin board, yes a literal COFFIN, because normal transportation was too boring for this game There’s more to do now too, not just deliveries, you get side missions like elimination, destruction and more, so it actually feels like you have options instead of just being a full-time courier, and mechanically the game fixes most problems from the first one, everything feels smoother and more flexible depending on how you want to play Progression is faster as well, you unlock vehicles and power skeletons early The story is still very Kojima which means it’s confusing, weird and sometimes feels like it’s going in five directions at once, pacing is a bit odd compared to the first game but the last few episodes are insane, like genuinely better than most movies, it’s chaotic but emotional and somehow still works Visually this game is on another level, character models, lighting, environments everything looks crazy good, at this point I’m convinced the devs have access to a secret better version of reality that we’re not allowed to see The world design is easily one of the best parts, it’s quiet, empty and kind of depressing but still beautiful in a strange way, there’s environmental storytelling everywhere The loneliness is still there so don’t expect the game to guide you all the time, but that’s also what makes it special, you feel isolated but not completely alone Also shoutout to Dollman, bro is basically your companion giving constant commentary like your personal narrator, reminds me of Mimir but in full Kojima style which means slightly unhinged, honestly I wish Dollman and Tarman had bigger roles because they deserved more screen time The first game made me enjoy delivering packages, this game made me care about HOW I deliver them, my route, my gear, my strategy, everything matters more now smh And yeah I actually 100% completed this today… and I’m not gonna lie it was grindy, but also weirdly satisfying, the kind of grind where you complain the whole time but still keep playing A lot of people still call these games walking simulators and yeah some parts still feel like that, but this one is way more fast-paced and engaging, you can move faster, fight more, do more, it’s just a better flow overall If you liked the first game, this one will ruin it for you because it improves so much, and if you didn’t like the first game, this might actually change your opinion Is it weird? yes Is it confusing? obviously Is it one of the best games ever made, annoyingly yes This should’ve been GOTY no debate Easy 100/10 again, extra points just because it’s a Kojima Productions game -
Recommended Posted March 23, 2026 on Steam I love this game. Really, really love this game. Optimization? AMAZING. Graphics? Best graphics I've ever seen in a video-game. Story? Peak cinema (adventure, drama, action, every single genre). Soundtrack? Every single music is marvelous. Audio? Audio design is top notch Combat? Compared to the first one, it it balanced and rewarding. Extra: I'm running it on Linux. It runs PERFECTLY at max settings with minor tweaks needed. Can't recommend enough, it is something you must experience for yourself. EDIT ---- For those asking, the main tweaks I've done are: Steam Launch Options: VKD3D_CONFIG=nodxr RADV_TEX_ANISO=16 %command% The main issue of this game on Linux, seems to be RTX implementation. So, the VKD3D_CONFIG=nodxr disables RTX. And I`m using the latest version of CachyOS Proton
