  • Recommended Posted September 22, 2025 on Steam the only issue I have is sometimes the game gets stuck on Day or night. Example would be game tells me its turning to night time but it stays day with night time mechanics
  • Recommended Posted September 18, 2025 on Steam I can't believe I just launched the game in 2025 and it works, feels and plays soooo good like back in the old days. Proper game for a proper price, when devs know how to make a good optimization without any "premium" gamers stuff. We gamers do really need so little just to be happy
  • Recommended Posted November 25, 2025 on Steam The original Dying Light was one of the best games I have ever played and I have played tons of games. This one captures that original magic again. Dying Light 2 was a good game, but not like the original.
  • Recommended Posted September 21, 2025 on Steam Honest review from me. What I like: - The new Beast Mode is brutal and i love it. - Parkour is smoother and closer to the first game (no parkour stamina). - Runs well on PC . - Castor Woods is a fine new map: creepy forests + tight towns + tense nights. (survival-horror vibes are strong). - Impressive visuals (lighting, weather effects and environments). - Combat feels weighty and brutal, especially melee. - The sound design. - The Boss fights. What i hate: - Story is weak and kinda boring. - Characters and villains lack impact. - No fast travel. - Parkour sometimes glitches in cramped interiors. - Recycled missions objectives (fetch this, clear that. fix that). - Loot can feel grindy and unrewarding. Verdict: Dying Light: The Beast nails zombie combat, parkour, and atmosphere. Story and minor design flaws hold it back.
  • Recommended Posted September 23, 2025 on Steam If youre a fan of the first game like I am, The Beast gives you exactly what youre asking for: brutal, gory combat that feels as satisfying as ever. The parkour isnt quite as sharp as in the original, but its still fun. It doesnt reinvent the series, but it definitely polishes things up in a way that feels like Techland actually cared. Visually? The game looks stunning. Honestly, its kind of wild to realize its not running on UE5, because it looks like it is. And the best part: it actually runs well (unlike UE5). Story-wise, its solid. The real hook is simple: you get to play as Kyle Crane again. Only this time, hes not just Kyle, hes this half-human, half-volatile hybrid, and that alone makes him feel fresh. The plot doesnt throw crazy twists at you, but I liked how they tied Crane’s past from Dying Light: The Following into his new life. Nights are still tense as hell too, even with Crane’s new abilities, its always a gamble whether to push forward or wait for daylight. The co-op is most definitely where the game really shines. Even the small, goofy things become ten times more fun. Now, *MY PERSONAL COMPLAINTS* about the mechanics: - Swim speed feels way too slow. - Strafing is oddly slower than just walking straight. - Parkour is still fun, but noticeably slower than the first game (just bumping animations/actions 10–20% faster would help a lot). - Honorable mention: please, Techland… give us back the DL1 grappling hook 😔 These are nitpicks more than deal breakers, but they stood out to me. If you loved the first game, you’ll feel right at home here. Great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ job, Techland. Other than the review i recommend watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLGKeflC8xA It shows how graphics settings affect the visuals and performance, and for NVIDIA users this is a MUST WATCH, so u dont break your game using Reflex/FG
