  • Recommended Posted November 28, 2025 on Steam Reject society. Become Egg. This is the most fun, addictive challenge game I've ever played. A lot of thought and care went into this game, and you can see that in all the little details. It's far more polished than any of the games it's been compared to, from the art direction to the actual game mechanics. The sound design is impeccable and goes largely unnoticed because it's so intuitive. I've never thought about what an egg would sound like rolling on glass versus metal, but this game nailed it. Beyond the simple challenge of climbing higher, there are lots of other goals, intentional or contrived, that players can work toward. Exploration is greatly rewarded; you can find lots of Easter eggs, collectibles, or shortcuts to make your runs easier/faster. There's no one way to play the game. The devs have invested a ton of time into scaling the challenge so it's both difficult and rewarding. They went into depth during the playtest to try different mechanics and physics and even added a drone assisted mode to help more casual players still progress. If you're frustrated by the difficulty you can easily switch modes or just... git gud. I highly recommend at least trying the game. Worst case scenario, you buy a low price game and support hard working devs. I've put in 20+ hrs on the Steam Deck with hardly any performance issues. I had to adjust my settings a bit when I got to the Factory, but it's run like a champ since then. My RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 3600 have had no issues whatsoever. It's also worth noting that most of the negative reviews are from people who haven't played for more than a couple of hours (or 0.1 hrs in some cases) and didn't even have enough time to really learn how to play.

  • Recommended Posted March 3, 2026 on Steam I finished this game on the hardest difficulty. On my first playthrough, I used drone assist. I genuinely believed there was no way a “normal” person could finish it without help. Some sections felt mathematically impossible. I even read reviews calling the devs psychopaths and thought, “Yeah… this is clearly designed to be beaten with drone only.” I convinced myself it wasn’t meant to be played straight. Then I started a new game on the hardest difficulty. At first, it wasn’t easier. I just wasn’t panicking anymore. I knew what was coming. I failed. A lot. But the failures felt different. They weren’t proof that I couldn’t do it, they were just unfinished attempts. There was one section that felt like my absolute limit. I retried it over and over until I finally cleared it. I felt proud… and then I fell on the next part, which meant I had to redo that “impossible” section again. That was the real test. I remember thinking: “Well, I guess that was my peak.” But it wasn’t. I did it again. And again. And eventually, I finished the game. The final boss wasn’t even the hardest part. The hardest part was the voice in my head that kept saying, “This is where you stop.” There’s a narrator throughout the journey. You can interpret it however you want: encouragement, sarcasm, mockery. At some point I realized it didn’t matter. The voice is just noise. What matters is whether you keep moving toward the goal. To those who say the game is too difficult, or that the devs are insane: I get it. I was there. I believed this game was unfair. I believed it wasn’t designed for “normal” players. But I recommend this game exactly because of that feeling. It confronts your self-imposed limits. It exposes how quickly we label something “impossible” just to protect our ego. And if you push past that, if you try longer than your doubt lasts, something changes. Not just in the game. In you. Finishing this made me realize something uncomfortable: I’ve won before. Design contests. Student's competitions back in high school. I have proof that I can overcome difficult things. So why is my default reaction to new challenges always, “There’s no chance”? This game forced me to confront that. Maybe nothing is impossible. Maybe some things just require more attempts than we’re comfortable admitting. If you have the tools in your hands and the patience to keep going, you might surprise yourself. I did.
  • Recommended Posted November 19, 2025 on Steam This game is infuriating, Just thinking about it makes my blood boil, it is impossible and I have serious skill issues with it.... Therefore I must say... I LOVE THIS GAME. Great Idea, clever and new. I highly recomend you try it out And I am saying this even though I got it for free. They gave me a copy to preview not to get my recommendation.
