• Recommended Posted October 28, 2025 on Steam For $15, Escape from Duckov gave me 80 hours of gameplay without a burnout - I completed 100% of the game! I tell you honestly and genuinely, it's the best game I've played in 2025. Nothing else was better value, better quality, or better fun. Seriously. It's a really fun top-down shooter. The first 10 hours feel like a stealth/survival shooter, and by hour 80 I felt like I was playing Hotline Miami. All of the mechanics surrounding shooting make sense, are fun to explore, and make for a really adrenaline-pumping game that's so satisfying to get good at. The many forms of progression are extremely addictive. You've got character upgrades, base upgrades, gear upgrades, NPC unlocks, map unlocks, crafting, fishing, exploration, and more. Honestly the closest thing I can compare this game's progression to is Terraria, which should say a lot to those who are a fan. And it was perfectly challenging and satisfying on the Survivor difficulty for me, but there are several difficulty presets to choose from as well as a custom difficulty that lets you tweak a lot of settings to get things just right. This game really can be enjoyed by anyone. Play duck game, dude.

Escape From Duckov is really silly at first glance, but this is an EXTREMELY competent PvE game that absolutely nails progression. The developer has played Tarkov and really knows what makes the amazing parts of Tarkov feel so good. You'll progress through this game, collecting loot, upgrading your hideout and enhancing your character as you equip stronger armor and weapons. This allows you to traverse deeper into the maps for even better loot. This game nails progression more than anything. Upgrade your hideout, then upgrade those modules. Upgrade every aspect of your character, from your carry weight, to your needs of food and water, and even gun statistics like recoil and reload speed. You'll use a huge variety of items to contribute to all of these upgrades, and it really rewards your hoarding and filling up your stash (which you can also upgrade.) The quests aren't particularly interesting, but that's not why we're here. Just like Tarkov, the quests are a means to experience and rewards. I love how the developer takes a tongue in cheek approach to quests and often recognizes notorious Tarkov quests. Clearing enemies and looting them feels fantastic. Some enemies can be quite hard, so it feels great to equip some really good gear and ammo to take them down. There are harder common enemies and even named AI that will absolutely tear you up if you're not ready. The cute aesthetic is funny at first, but you'll quickly look past it as you get sucked into looting, taking down enemies, and of course upgrading every aspect of your hideout. Don't be fooled and think this is a meme game. Other than Tarkov itself, I don't think another game nails extraction progression better. This game scratches such a great itch for me and I can't praise this game enough. I'm not joking when I say that this is one of the best games I own on steam. If you like Tarkov's progression or extraction gameplay at all, just add it to your cart and start playing immediately. You will not regret it. Amazing job to the developer!!
• Recommended Posted November 6, 2025 on Steam I don't really play any extraction shooter games mainly because of all the try hards in the lobbies. I'm a father who barely has time to play so i've always looked for a game i can play casually and without any pressure of being stuck in a match for minutes or hours. I randomly came up to this game on YouTube and decided to give it a try after watching some reviews and I am sold. This game is very fun yet serious, doesn't require for you to stay logged in a match for long periods of time and is offline. I highly recommend this game as an entry for extraction shooters or for any other father who is looking for a game they can play in short period of times.

Complex Base building, cool character customization and progression system, quests quests quests, tons of different enemies, LOOOOOOT, great soundtrack and fishing!!!!

• Recommended Posted October 20, 2025 on Steam If you enjoy extraction games but do not enjoy other people(derogatory) then this is the one for you. Vibe in base, load up with gear, and have fun. It's cute, its tough, its fun, and its awesome.
