Recommended Posted June 27, 2025 on Steam It's been years since I last played this game with my brother. Looking back to this game just made me feel nostalgic since after my brother died, I haven't played this game since. My brother and I used to play this game all day long, solving puzzled and being puzzled. This game has a special place in my heart. Miss you big bro. -
Recommended Posted January 21, 2026 on Steam If you love escape rooms, this game is a delightfully unhinged way to test both your puzzle‑solving skills and the stability of your relationship. I played with my husband, which mostly involved me yelling “MOVE!” while he rotated objects at the speed of a confused sloth. Strangely, it brought us closer together. Trauma bonding, I guess. Those cursed tokens, though. Some of them are hidden so well I’m convinced the developers hate us personally. On the bright side, the game ran perfectly, no bugs, no crashes, just pure “why is this lever not doing anything” energy. The puzzles range from “ooh clever!” to “oh come on,” which is exactly the emotional rollercoaster I signed up for. I wasn’t desperate for more when we finished and then my husband immediately bought Escape Simulator 2. Because apparently he enjoys watching me suffer in HD. Verdict: 8/10 excellent fun for two puzzle‑loving weirdos who enjoy shouting instructions at each other. -

Recommended Posted September 12, 2025 on Steam Fun game for solo play. I haven't tried with others yet, but it helps me keep my mind active with the puzzles and trying to find the tokens throughout -
Recommended Posted September 12, 2025 on Steam I got hooked on playing escape room games on itch.io a few months ago and bought Escape Simulator to keep the obsession going. This game has satisfying mechanics but I don't think any of the puzzles are actually any better than in the ones I played on itch.io (which is fine). The puzzles are good, though. I'm glad that they go beyond just finding a code for a lock; you actually have to solve the code. I like the icons that show you whether an item is useful; those are the only thing that save the puzzles from being tedious. But, they also make the game feel more linear. When I load into a level, I scan every item and ignore the ones that don't have an icon. I don't even pay attention to the environment, which is sometimes the most interesting part of an escape room. I might have enjoyed the puzzles more if there was no timer. The timer made me rush through, which probably caused me to get stuck in certain areas because I wasn't thinking clearly. It could keep track of my time without showing it to me and making me panic. -
Recommended Posted October 19, 2025 on Steam Got it with my partner thinking it would be a perfect game for just one date, but the community has sooo many well made escape rooms that we keep coming back. It doesn't have timers in the fan made levels, so you can take your time to explore. It normally loads well even for my 10 year old pc and there are like hundreds of amazing 30-45 min levels that are just so well made
