Not recommended Posted October 24, 2025 on Steam
Im a day 1 f2p (5th of june) who quit around mid-august.
It's been 3-4 months for the steam-release. They promised returning players events and content, new players rewards, a lot of new features and quality of life changes. Im saddened to say the game is in the same state i left it in. I'm so happy of my decision to quit back then with all my friends and guild members. I know this is a gacha game but if you don't pay on the weekly, forget about playing this game at all. It's been a real concern from the whole playerbase back then, that some content was impossible so instead of nerfing it, the devs heard our cry for help and released 50$ packs , 30$+ skins, new paid only units instead of nerfing the content for everyone to enjoy. This is a gacha game, but i've never played such a predatory gacha game in my life. If you value your time and money, please stay away from this game. -
Not recommended Posted October 24, 2025 on Steam i played this game on beta and on launch day two months later , i stopped playing it developers don't care about the community and probably not even about the game it's a waste of time , go play any other gacha turn based , don't waste your time with this one -
Not recommended Posted February 19, 2026 on Steam I originally played this game when it first came out on its own launcher so my time on the steam version is short but that is because the game has just stagnated completely at best and outright gotten worse at worst. I was a day 1 player for the game when it first launched off steam on June 5th 2025 and played quite a bit for approximately the first month and did enjoy the 10 chapters of story that the game launched with. Now 7 months later the game still has only the initial 10 story chapters. It is clear that the devs have stopped caring about the story in favor of simply releasing characters for easy profit. On top of that major issue the game also comes with all the other issues and pitfalls of a gacha game and as a result I can not recommend this game to anyone. If your looking for a gacha game to play then you should look elsewhere as this game does not respect your time. -
Not recommended Posted December 9, 2025 on Steam Day 1 player. Everything in this game is RNG, except for character skill upgrades. Skins are very poor-quality recolors. Developers consider negative reviews on Steam to be review bombing and do not take it seriously (see the official Discord). They don't take feedback seriously. XD is a company known for predatory design and lack of care for its games. This is a very predatory and unsatisfactory gacha game - monetization is present everywhere and is clearly the main goal of the developers. The dev team can sit on radio silence for many weeks and not give the community any feedback. Even the official Community Manager responses show tons of unprofessionalism in player-dev communications - just check his answers on the official Discord, which are full of sarcasm and empty promises like "we hear you". The character design is great, but the developers are slowly killing this game themselves. I once had to report a very important bug for 40 days that caused the shell (Dark Moon) to not work properly—40 days during which the support team and the devs on Discord gaslighted me. They only considered feedback from the content creators. I had to make a huge fuss on the subreddits and official Discord (as many as five posts) to get the developers to even consider this bug—a bug that made an in-game shell useless. But I understand that people who aren't content creators are second-class citizens. Our entire union (the equivalent of a guild in this game) reported the aformentioned bug, but it didn't help. It seems like the dev team only cares about the Chinese server, and the "global" one is irrelevant—it served as a beta server for the CN server. EDIT: another example how predatory the dev team is. This is a PvP game, where rebalaning characters is required often. Instead of buffing a SR (4*) character, they give you a long and resource-hungry path to improve it, while SSRs (5*) are being reworked and balanced. What is more, the dev team keeps pushing characters that promote one particular playstyle, for many many months. -
Not recommended Posted October 24, 2025 on Steam Unfortunately its just a copy/paste of some very famous games of the same kind. Nothing new to offers compared to the others, poor quality UI, no satisfying animations. The story seemed to be a bit interesting tho. Since its free to play, you can try it, but it wont be your main game -
Not recommended Posted October 24, 2025 on Steam This game is purely about PvP. If you don't like PvP, feel free to skip this gacha. Every other aspect of the game is below mid. I've played it since beta, have a level 100 account (played it just out of boredom and dropped it a few days after reaching the level cap), and I can't recommend it to almost anyone. If you're an F2P player – be ready to grind and suffer in PvP. If you have money – you're welcome to have fun. But I'd recommend spending your money somewhere else. (Downloaded it from Steam just to leave this review.)
