  • Not recommended Posted February 5, 2026 on Steam This game was incredibly boring to me. The suspense part didn't occur till near the end. Before that its nearly an hour and half of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with a horny friend. I've enjoyed the other games in this series but this one was awful.

  • Recommended Posted January 4, 2026 on Steam I really like the Fears to Fathom series. The love for 80:s thriller and horror that the devs have is apperent and they have a very distinct style. This kind of episodic, short from, horror is great for a single sitting. This one is a bit of a slow burn, you can pretty much tell where the story will go from the start, but it manages to sow enough doubt and unease so tjat you are never really sure who will be the villain in the end or if there will be more than one. Looks like the next game will be co-op, migh be a nice change of pace for the franchise as long as they keep doing the single player adventures too. Most of the achievements are missable but the chapters are short and you can do them when replaying specific chapters. There is one RNG achievement where you need to catch a specific fish, but it didn't take me that long and 1 where you can't die and reload. You need to replay the entire game if you fail at that one, you can't replay the last chapter. However only actual deaths count, i somehow broke the game and fell off the map, but restarting after that didn't prevent the no death achievement. Funny side note, the devs knew that could happend since the character comments on falling off the map, good stuff, can't really be mad about that. Theres also a "Typing of the dead" minigame, if you are terrible at typing fast you might struggle with that one, even if it's pretty short.
  • Recommended Posted August 12, 2025 on Steam I enjoyed this game very much even a little glitchy but I got thru it, and one part I didn't realize I should throw my pizza box away lol. I love cheezy jump scares and fun spooky games. Oh and I really liked the typing alien game at work :)
  • Recommended Posted July 20, 2025 on Steam VHS-styled horror game. Author has found a perfect source for horror games. Each one can be beaten in an 1-1,5 hours usually. There are lots of popular creepypasta youtube channels, reddit threads and so on, most of them can be easily transformed into such a game. In Woodbury Getaway we get more mini-games, dialogue options and things to do. I guess it can be beaten in first playthrough in around 2 hours. I can highly recommend the whole bundle on sale, can't wait when new season will be released.
  • Recommended Posted October 28, 2025 on Steam I'd be lying if I said the game only relies on jump scares, because the atmosphere is so incredibly creepy the entire time that constantly feel uneasy, but the scares are always jumpscares. Still, exremely worth it for the atmosphere alone. I couldn't bear it anymore at some point, but greatly enjoyed it until there. I am just not built for horror.
