  • Not recommended Posted July 17, 2025 on Steam BORDERLINE IDENTIFY THEFT NetMarble's Privacy policy includes them recording your name, address, phone number, email address, passwords used for account creation, country, social media account ID or channel ID, payment details and billing/shipping information when making purchases along with any photos or other information when making an account. They ALSO collect your social media information (i.e Your Facebook profile picture, full name, friends list) AND monitor when you're active on the sites. Excluding the numerous reviews stating how P2W this game is, before even creating an account you're required to give access to all of this information. Its absolutely ridiculous and honestly criminal the extent these companies go to take your information and use it for who knows what. I just want to steer as many people away from companies like this as possible. Our rights and our information is more vulnerable than ever and we need to stop allowing things like this to go under the radar. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION AWAY P.S Not that it matters but my "playtime" is sitting in the menu reading this abysmal terms and conditions/privacy policy. I was super excited to play this and experience GOT but i will not be taken advantage of by this company.
  • Not recommended Posted August 12, 2025 on Steam This game just sucks. Story and map are actually kinda decent, especially if you are a big GOT fan, but that's about the only good thing. From the second you log in, the game overloads you with a million shiny menus and upgrade systems that are so annoying and and confusing. They basically just function to try to get you to give up on naturally progressing and spend as much money as they can squeeze out of you. And to top it all off, if you don't grind for hours and hours on these pointless menus/upgrade systems, or spend $, you can't even progress through the story. I'd honestly rather just pay $60 or whatever to peacefully experience a REAL game of thrones game and not be bombarded by micro-transaction filled brainrot every step of the way.
  • Not recommended Posted September 1, 2025 on Steam https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3452501421 Please, for the love of FU#KING GOD just make a proper AAA Open-world Game of Thrones game. Enough with the low-budget, live-service mobile cash grabs Slop. Fans deserve something ambitious, immersive, and truly worthy of the world George R.R. Martin created. As for this release. The graphics look like they're straight out of the Xbox 360 era, because it’s just a lazy mobile port dumped onto PC. Even with my high-end setup, performance is awful. The game runs terribly due to poor optimization and what seems like a complete lack of care from the developers. Specs: GPU: Radeon RX 9070 XT CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D RAM: 32GB DDR5 There’s no excuse for this kind of performance on hardware like this.
  • Not recommended Posted July 5, 2025 on Steam I really tried to enjoy this game. I spent money, time, and effort building my character, creating a guild, doing quests, and trying to play seriously. What did I get in return? A fully pay-to-win system. Progress stops unless you pay, Quests are buggy. Some NPCs don’t even show dialogue. This game pretends to be free, but it’s not. It uses the Game of Thrones name to trap you, then slowly drains your wallet. There’s no reward for loyalty or honest gameplay. Just a credit card meter. Avoid this game like hell.
  • Recommended Posted June 6, 2025 on Steam Visually impressive, but still has some rough edges I’ve been a huge fan of the Game of Thrones universe for years, so naturally I had to try Kingsroad. Visually, the game really nails the atmosphere — the environments, the character designs, and the world-building feel true to the series. Walking through iconic places like King’s Landing and The Wall was actually pretty cool. Combat is okay, but not super smooth. It’s fully manual, which I like, but at times it feels stiff or unpolished. The class system is a nice touch though — I went with the Sellsword and enjoyed testing out different combos and dodges. What holds the game back for me is the monetization. There’s a lot of in-game purchases and progression can feel a bit grindy if you don’t spend. Also, the story is interesting, but the pacing is a little slow in the early chapters. Overall, it’s not a bad start. If you’re a fan of the series and can look past some early-access roughness, it’s worth checking out. Hopefully the devs keep improving it over time. Rating--7/10 :)
