Not recommended Posted November 4, 2025 on Steam I literally just got done playing the 2nd one for the first time....and man oh man did they take something great and ruin it. Now it feels like just another crappy VR game on my list of games. I LOVED the first one. One of my favorite games that introduced me to VR. But somehow they were able to take away what made it great, and come out with this......now I see why it's so cheap. The physics are just different....the way enemies are hit, the way they react, trying to grab them, trying to hit your weapon against theirs to cause the old slo-mo....it's all just trash......They cared more about making a 2nd game that had "more" content, instead of focusing on the most important part....the mechanics!! It's very rare for me to take the time to actually downvote a game....and I've played alot that deserved a downvote. But since I consider the first game to be in my top 10 favorite VR games.....I can't let this go forward without putting my two cents in. Even if those 2 cents are not in agreement with what the other current players thing.... -
Recommended Posted November 26, 2025 on Steam Compared to the first game, its pretty good. Better level and enemy variety imho but worse boss fights. Also I miss the hand augments like the wrist crossbow or grappling hooks. :steamsad: -
Not recommended Posted March 28, 2026 on Steam While the game is usually good and fun, the story is oddly interesting and all that. Have spent many hours in the game.... However they started putting in FOMO stuff in a single player game. Yes... they lock away weapons forever behind limited time events in your single player game. So if you bought the game late or you missed the event, you will forever have an empty spot in your inventory. Plus the valentines day update game mode is annoying and tedious and I feel forced to go through that slog against my will to get the weapons. Its not a game mode I would ever choose to play on my own. -
Recommended Posted June 24, 2025 on Steam I cannot recommend Gorn 1 anymore now that Gorn 2 is here, it's incredibly polished, has a dozen more weapons, some with unique abilities (Upset they don't have the gloves like the claws and gun arm), and I've been playing it for my workouts, Amazing work as always Devolver Digital and free lives! I want my gloves tho. -
Recommended Posted January 3, 2026 on Steam This game is fun, hella fun. I refunded the original and thought it would be stupid to buy the second one but I did anyway, and super enjoy it. Love the sillyness, the dialogue, the characters, the expressions, the weapons. Punching / hand to hand could be better but it’s grrrrrreat!
