• Not recommended Posted April 7, 2026 on Steam Played this game for over 200 hours. Got into full endgame for season 8. Bought and played a bloodpact with friends for over 2 months and everything was fine. Paid for all unique stash tabs but only a few extra shared tabs. Got really excited for season 9 and told all of my friends to play this game. Bought this game for 3 people and my community was involved with beta testing for this company for season 9. All of these things sound nice no? But we have one issue, If you go to play previous characters from older seasons everything you farmed that you decided to put into your premium tabs that you paid extra for was deleted. I was informed that they lacked server capacity to store our items from previous seasons. This may not be an issue for a lot of people who decide to play season to season and just delete everything when its over. But to charge people for premium tabs to be able to store your items and then delete said items because you do not have the server capacity to store them should be false advertisement. The players who enjoy your game deserve to make a full decision regarding the items they have farmed. Unless I hear from a dev that this was a one time thing and will never happen again. I cannot in good conscious play this game going forward. TLDR: A great game with amazing mechanics with poor decisions being made from above. Really a shame

• Not recommended Posted May 9, 2026 on Steam It is immediately impossible to get over the fact that an incredibly visually and mechanically simplistic game like this would be so absolutely infested with microtransactions, to the point that absolutely nothing is attainable in the game itself. It makes your game look like a cheap cash grab right out of the gate. Every "skin", as they are very generously called, because let's remember, it's a small set of pixel sprites, costs more than the entire game. Let's call a spade a spade here. There are practically no costs to keeping this game up. There cannot be. It's a lazy bare-bones Diablo/PoE clone. All the enemies you kill are the same 5 gagoos copy-pasted. Adding a handful of lazy skins/classes every season would take a single person a couple of days. So all the MTX is not a necessary evil to keep this game running. It's because you cobbled together one game, but you want to make multiple games' worth of money. Oh and to top it off, you saddled this with Easy Anti-Cheat, you know, to maintain the integrity of that hardcore Hero Siege seasonal content. Absolute shambles.

• Not recommended Posted April 4, 2026 on Steam Bought in 2014, it was a nice little game. Rediscovering it today, I find myself facing a game that tries to copy the biggest hack-and-slash titles, but does it much worse. €60 for the DLC... I have to pay real money to increase inventory space, and there’s a skin shop. I feel like they've turned the game into a cash cow instead of making it more fun So I might as well play POE, Grim Dawn, Diablo, or Last Epoch instead.
