Kingdom Come: Deliverance - A Woman's Lot

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - A Woman's Lot

In A Woman's Lot you play as Theresa accompanied by her loyal dog Tinker in a standalone questline. You will experience the ordinary life in Skalitz and later witness fateful events of Sigismund's raid from a completely different perspective. A Woman's Lot provides the last puzzle of the Skalitz story, as you find out what happened just before Henry was found unconscious.

  • Recommended Posted August 19, 2025 on Steam I thoroughly recommend this DLC for every player who, playing the base game, enjoys the narrative parts of the story. Both Theresa's and Johanka's story arcs are quite well written and very immersive (for me, who was invested in their fates). I do not recommend the DLC for players who enjoy the base game basically as a hack & slash RPG. They are in for a letdown. Theresa's act locks you in her POV; I recommend playing her act when you feel ready and wanting for a slow (and sometimes quite hard) experience. Johanka's act is played in Henry's POV and is concieved as a side quest. At least for me it drew me in and I had to complete it from start to finish in one game session. Your every choice matters and adds up in the finale in an impactful way. Do not let yourself be dissuaded by the negative reviews stemming from people being frustrated by starting Theresa's act mistakenly. It is certainly a glaring game design flaw that this happens so often. However, when you start the act on your own volition, the criticisms become footless.
  • Recommended Posted January 2, 2026 on Steam It is a good DLC, but DO NOT START IT BY ACCIDENT after the prologue - that is from where most of these negative opinions come from.
  • Recommended Posted February 8, 2026 on Steam I understand people giving negetive review to the dlc for making theresa dlc as much frustrating as possible and being able to do that dlc literally within few hours of the game is outrageous and I have seen people starting it accidently. But hear me out, even with all the problems with theresa dlc, the story of how she survived the harsh conditions are developed really well and I'd definitely recommend this dlc if you love theresa and to gain more respect for her as a character for what she went through those hard times. But the best thing about this DLC is Johanka's questline, believe me when I say, It's one of the best quests written in gaming. I don't want to spoil it for everyone reading this review so I won't be discrete about why I love the dlc but overall the writing, three different endings and characters those are involved with all the things that are happening in the dlc have been written remarkably and I applaud devs and writers for their work in this dlc.
  • Not recommended Posted February 27, 2026 on Steam The story is great, but man that was absolutely terrible being surprised locked into hours of what basically was " a seperate game". If they only gave you an option to go back to your world, and continue, that would have been actually enjoyable. Once i was done, and got the dog i was happy, but i really did not want a surprise permanent game lock that was multiple hours long.
  • Recommended Posted December 13, 2025 on Steam I honestly don't know why this dlc got this much hate. I loved it, getting some background for Bianca and Theresa, seeing how things were in Skalitz before and all was quite fun. The whole dreams and judgement thing was quite fun too. Overall it was a good dlc I think
  • Recommended Posted April 7, 2026 on Steam This is specifically about Theresa's part, since that's what everyone seems to have issues with. I absolutely loved this DLC (on hardcore). I was a little disappointed to go back to Henry at the end. It's so much more than "a bunch of boring fetch quests". The vast majority of my time was spent wandering the land and talking to people, admiring things like the water-powered ore crushers. It adds so much richness and depth to the world that the main prologue just completely missed out on. It's not for everyone, or even seemingly most people, but if you're playing this game because you want to be immersed in a historical setting and you have even a modicum of patience, you'll probably like this. Or to put it another way: if you sometimes stop to admire how puddles look on the dirt paths in this game, you'll probably like this. I played it at the first opportunity, which I think was the perfect time. The fetch quests are usually short, by the way, there was only one that took a while. Couple tips, if anyone wants them: you can get a bludgeon from your dad's chest in the beginning, which saved my life several times, and stripping down to your shift makes you much, much quieter.
