Recommended Posted September 28, 2025 on Steam This DLC honestly isn't that great. it's not bad, it's not good, it's just a DLC. the only reason I like this is that it's comedic and that you have an option to blame your mistakes on the French. but if you're about to finish the game, you are FORCED to complete this DLC before you move on to finishing this game (if you own the DLC) and it adds like another hour or two to your game, which is quite minuscule, but it's just annoying. -
Recommended Posted December 4, 2025 on Steam Probably the worst DLC, at least with my experience since the new questline bugged for me. I got around it and ended up finishing it but it was the only quest I needed help from online to get through due to an Item I needed being bugged out of existence. I do recommend playing through it, you get to know Lord Capon a bit more and there is good dialog and writing, but save your game a lot when doin it. -
Not recommended Posted October 13, 2025 on Steam Very annoying and disappointing DLC. I want to preface this by saying I like Hans as a character; he's one of the better ones in KCD. But my experience was terrible from start to finish. First off, I wanted to finish the game and see the ending, yet I was railroaded into having to do this DLC. This already makes little sense, as it will take several in-game days to complete, yet the task Henry and Hans were given was time-sensitive, so I'm left wondering why we're forced into it. Now, I don't know if I was just very unlucky, but the bandits were just gods at dice and would crush me, so I had to resort to just killing the guy and stealing his key to get the necklace. Then, the stealth to put the items in the trunk was a nightmare; the butcher was walking around, and I would get caught no matter what time I waited until. Lastly, at the end, I got a bug where Hans's door was locked 24/7, and it was a very hard lock. I was playing an honest character, so I had no way to open it and had to resort to loading an earlier save and replaying the last part of the quest again. Altogether, this made for a poor experience, and if I had done it in the middle of a playthrough, it would have just been a bit annoying. But since it made me play another two hours nearly after I was trying to end the game and ruined the pace, I have to say I dislike it and would rather have bought the base game instead. -
Not recommended Posted February 25, 2026 on Steam I REALLY wanted to love this questline. I really did and there were some bits that were hilariously good. The dice tournament was fun and I had not many issues with it there. ...Then came the haunting in ledetchko and man it was a drag. Have to do a lot of tedious tasks to scare the people of ledetchko, go hunting for meat, let it rot and some of the optional objectives aren't visible and can lock out very easily if you don't tend to them or are there at the right time. The last bits of the ledetchko revenant questline were fun and hilarious however but the preparations were awful. The last bits of the questline were hilarious but again....A LOT of waiting. That's pretty much the only issue I have with this DLC. There's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much waiting that it spoils the questline for me which is a real shame. If you have a lot of patience you may enjoy it but I'm at the endgame so I think that's one more reason the burnout was getting to me. Just be prepared to wait. A lot. -
Recommended Posted July 8, 2025 on Steam I thought this added some additional humorous moments to a game that is full of silly moments, and added an extra bit of bonding between Henry and Hans. Not the most necessary dlc experience, but as a short and sweet experience I think its worth grabbing either as part of a sale or in the season pass. -
Recommended Posted November 18, 2025 on Steam Great humor in this DLC. The only major downside is that you have to complete this DLC to finish the main story of the base game for some reason.
