• Recommended Posted September 16, 2025 on Steam I played this game local co-op with my 6 year old daughter, wow! I'm a game dev myself and I've slowly been trying to get my daughter, not only into games but to open her up to a world of potential and show her how games can be beautiful and memorable experiences. Not just distraction. Playing this game with her has been an absolute pleasure, there's moments of challenge but they progress in difficulty at a good pace and because of the tranquil nature of the environments, music and the occasional moment of shared wanderlust, it never felt too stressful for her, even when she got stuck. Unlike the classic Lego games we've played which feel more like you're playing alongside one another, this really felt like you had to work like a team. Things are also far less automated, so you really do feel like you're building with Lego -- it feels more tactile and kinetic. The controls are simple enough but never stripped down so much that you feel the game is playing itself. The moments where we have to load up a vehicle with bits of Lego before we both go out on our next journey are filled with excitement and I love that you really have to work together to operate them. We had a few little 'arguments' but her sense of achievement and pride once she overcomes the challenge is exactly what I signed up for. I think I've seen some mainstream reviewers saying this game is too short. No way, I disagree. I don't know if they've just been conditioned after playing too many never-ending, RPG or live-service games because the game length was just right. Longer than many games I grew up with. I'm made up this game got made, she's been going on about it in her school and it's likely nobody has any idea what she's on about, haha. We're a little closer for having shared this experience together and that's reflective of what games can be. We've played lego games together before but we're coming out of this one with a lot more to cherish. THE NEGATIVE -- The ending is very 'sad'. I love a sad ending or a bittersweet ending but the ending in this game feels sad for the sake of wanting a sad ending. It goes against the entire theme and game-play of the whole game, it lacks the context or arc to really justify it -- it's completely contrived. A curve-ball thrown for no reason.
 • Recommended Posted November 29, 2025 on Steam Playing with my 6 year old son and it's been thoroughly enjoyable so far. The team work aspect is excellent and watching his confidence grow as he figures things out is a real boost for me as a parent too. Great soundtrack too!
 • Recommended Posted September 15, 2025 on Steam When I installed the game first time it say it was a Friend's pass Edition. To fix this I just go into game property -> Installed Files -> [Verify integreity of game files] Now when I start the game it appear as the full edition. :D

 • Recommended Posted September 17, 2025 on Steam My girlfriend bought this for me cuz she knows how much I love lego, we've had this wishlisted since we saw the announcement. She lives 5000 miles away from me, playing games together is something she got me into and it makes long distance a lot more bearable. We went into expecting to mess around and giggle through the game while chatting, but we got so invested. Believe it or not there is a plot to spoil so don't read on if you haven't played, I HIGHLY recommend going in blind.
At the end of the game, the two bricks separate, one going on the rocket, the other launching it. And wowie if that didn't hit me like a ton of bricks, playing this whole co-op adventure with my long distance girlfriend, feeling so close, and then ending the game thousands of miles apart. The epilogue had her back at the starting houses alone, me in space, I'm already losing it, and then it prompts me to hit the button for singing and they start talking over the coms and yeah, I cried a lot. My girlfriend teased me but it was so nice, even though it's sad to be so far apart, we still get to talk everyday and continue to grow closer, just like Red and Blue
• Not recommended Posted September 21, 2025 on Steam Lego Voyagers is a game laden under a cute charm that had me smiling and just enjoying the atmosphere as me and my friend rolled across its levels. Honestly, it was nice to play a wordless story where the throughline is something as simple as friendship is forever, and it tells it with more charm than I expected. It's also a title that makes use of and has fun with its sound design. However, I really struggle to recommend a 3 hour game going for 30 dollars with gameplay as sparse and pithy as this. When a fun idea does arrive it doesn't stay around for long, and before you know it it's another moment of watching your jogging LEGO blocks before arriving at the next curt minigame. And then it's over. Voyagers is endearing, no one can argue against that. But it's another title among many with lots of seasoning but not enough meat. Pick it up and play it with a friend if it's on a crazy sale, but otherwise I would hold off on this one.
