Recommended Posted October 30, 2025 on Steam The Average Marvel Rivals Experience: Load into a game Choose your character Everyone else chooses DPS Swap to Support Game Starts Instantly lose first point One teammate Leaves (everyone else still on DPS) New teammate loads in Chooses DPS Loses Second Point and the game Proceeds to get blamed by your team when you were the only support Loads into next game The entire enemy team is bots Devs then say EOMM doesn't exist Repeat -
Recommended Posted April 26, 2026 on Steam Its a great game with the worst match making in history. If you are even a little above average this game will put you on a team with a daredevil thats actually blind, a penny whos actually 12, and an ultron whos actually racist. -
Not recommended Posted January 9, 2026 on Steam Had to uninstall due to the insane storage requirement, for a game like this to go from 40 gigs to well over 100 and counting in the span of a single year is ridiculous, optimize your game. -
Recommended Posted October 31, 2025 on Steam being a marvel rivals player is akin to being in a toxic relationship because you'll never have anything good to say about the game but you'll keep coming back to it anyway -
Not recommended Posted July 13, 2025 on Steam The game itself is fun, a lot of unique characters and maps, but what makes me unable to recommend this game to anyone is matchmaking. Marvel Rivals uses engagement-optimized matchmaking (EOMM), which means the game doesn't prioritize giving you fair matches but matches that are most likely to keep you playing. The result of that are massive winstreaks and massive losestreaks. Every game is a steamroll for one side and your actions feel useless. You could be the best player on the game but if you are on a lose streak it won't matter how good you are. The opposite is also true, you could run off the map and contribute nothing to your team, but if you are on a win streak you are gonna win. As long as Marvel Rivals keeps this matchmaking system in place I can not recommend this game to anyone. The first few matches are fun but when you realize how it works it just makes you not want to turn the game on(which you can see if you look at steam charts).
