  • Recommended Posted November 4, 2025 on Steam Master Lemon is more than just a game; it's a delightful little slice of happiness and a beautiful homage to a life lived with passion. It's based on the incredible true story of Limão, a boy who dreamed of conquering the world by learning languages, believing in the profound power of words to connect us all. This heartwarming adventure was crafted by one of his best friends, and that love is felt in every single moment. The gameplay is a breath of fresh air, a celebration of enjoying the simple joys of life, reminding you of Limão's inspiring spirit. Every moment feels like a warm hug, leaving you with a giant smile on your face. Master Lemon is an absolute treasure—a truly beautiful story and an amazing game that shows how friendship and dreams can create something unforgettable.
  • Recommended Posted January 10, 2026 on Steam Part game aboit stories and language and it's impact and magic and part requiem for the creators friend, Lemon,, whom this game is dedicated to. So it's a deeply personal game, and a bittersweet story and if that where all there was it would be a heartfelt game about love and loss. But behind all that there is still a delightful adventure game with some light inventory puzzles. You travel around a couple of islands, talking to the inhabitants, finding items and new words that help them in some way. It's not especially hard and the game gives a visual clue if you have found the thing that will move the story with a specific character forward, There are some moon logic in combining a few of the inventory items to new ones, but it also fits in the dream like mood of the games setting. Completion was fairly easy, nothing is missable if you just do all quests and complete all areas before the obvious point of no return (don't worry that you havn't got the "all words" achievement by that time, there are a couple in the end scenes and nothing is missable there. And you can even reload from just before the end scenes after completing the story, if you still had something to do. Just doing everything on every map will give you 100% in 9-10 hours or something.
  • Recommended Posted November 4, 2025 on Steam Master Lemon is surprisingly moving. Beneath the cute surface there’s a very heartfelt tribute, told in a creative and meaningful way. It feels like a requiem made as a game: intimate, emotional and full of love. It’s pretty clear how much care and love went into making this. On top of that, it’s a genuinely good narrative game with clever puzzles and a really interesting semi–open world to explore. The production value is also top-notch, music, sound design and VFX are all way above what you’d expect for a game like this. Totally recommend.

  • Recommended Posted November 8, 2025 on Steam A cozy, charming adventure game about the power of languages and culture, with a few puzzles sprinkled in. Not too short, but also doesn't overstay it's welcome, and definitely worth a shot for any interested in it's themes and art.
  • Recommended Posted December 19, 2025 on Steam I played Master Lemon expecting something light and funny, and it is... but it also surprised me with how heartfelt it gets. The friendship bond in this game is the best part. It feels genuine, and it made me really care about the journey instead of just “beating the game”. This requiem in form of a game for André Lima hit me hard. I wasn’t ready for that. It felt like a real goodbye, and it stayed with me after I finished playing. The art is beautiful too! Super charming and full of personality. This is what art in form of games is! Indie at its peak.
