• Recommended Posted July 29, 2025 on Steam
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my full video review here: https://youtu.be/r4XUdJyaw9c Moss 2 VR picks up where the original Moss left off and improves the experience in almost every aspect. It is exactly what a sequel should be. This is a must buy for VR and an instant classic. Game is about 5-7 hours long, depending on play-style. The worlds environments are highly detailed. The art-style is breath-taking. The boss fights are fun and unique. New gameplay elements are introduced at a brisk pace. The musical soundtrack is one of the best, if not the best in VR. The VOs are all done by this one wonderful voice actress. The story is even better than the original as well. Game is running on the Unreal Engine 4.2. On my RTX 3080, on high graphical settings, I was getting a steady 90 fps. Other than one bug that was easily fixed with a restart, the game was smooth and polished. You can play comfortably seated. • Recommended Posted November 1, 2025 on Steam Vermintide: the beginning Jokes aside though, it's not only a great addition to the first part, but also a huge improvement overall. From the combat mechanics (that are now more diverse and somehow easier/less annoying than some in the first part) to puzzles (especially liked the last level) and the world decorations. It's hard to believe that this masterpiece is done by such a small studio. We really need more games like this one: a relaxing sitting experience, yet very engaging. And I can hardly name a game that looked as cute. An advise to players: don't rush it too much, whenever the location is changed, take a moment to look around, there are some really cool details that are easy to miss otherwise in some places. Definitely would recommend, even on a full price it's actually worth it, because the experience is just so unique. One of the best VR titles.

 • Recommended Posted October 27, 2025 on Steam MUCH better difficulty balance than its predecessor - opens up more different strategies for fights. I had to give up on Moss because it is just far too difficult, but Moss Book 2 was not a problem.
 • Recommended Posted July 1, 2025 on Steam I don't have much play time but I've played through the first Moss on my Quest 2. Now I have a Quest 3. I'm 50 and have been gaming for 45 years. Moss is a delightful game, and a gentle introduction to VR. I never had to worry about motion sickness while playing Moss. The puzzles remind me of the old game Abe's Odyssey. You and Quill work together to solve things. I'm not great at puzzle games, so it takes me a little longer to figure things out, but I feel good about myself when I do. The graphics are lovely, as are the sounds, music, voice work (sounds like your mom or dad just tucked you in and are reading a story to you), the environment, and enemy interactions, If you have a VR headset you owe it to yourself to play Moss I and II. It sometimes shows up in Humble Bundles, but it's well worth the full asking price. This is the first game I played on my Quest 3 and I couldn't be happier with it. Oh. YOU CAN PET THE MOUSE!
 • Recommended Posted December 25, 2025 on Steam Like the first Moss, this is a puzzle-platformery VR game with a little bit of action/combat thrown in. Like the first game, it has some fairly standard ideas with pushing blocks around, manipulating enemies to push buttons, etc. There are a few more interesting mechanics thrown in but nothing groundbreaking in the puzzling or combat. That said, this game is carried by vibes. It feels like your grandma baked you cookies and is reading you a story (complete with character voices) about a mouse trying to score some crack (because everyone is always talking about where to find glass). It's cozy like a warm hug and Quill has to be one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutest protagonists ever (unless you don't like mice, you monster.) She's so expressive and adorable and every animation has so much life put into it that I can forgive the few rough edges the game has.
