  • Recommended Posted September 9, 2021 on Steam Really enjoyed myself. I would probably choose a less busy server next time because a lot of people in the same area is quite hectic and everyone chasing the same resource - however - resource is still easy to come by. I can see myself coming back to this when it gets released.
  • Recommended Posted September 10, 2021 on Steam This game needs a lot to be done not gonna lie! The report feature is maintained by bots and Amazon give ZERO care about it being done just wrong. WHen a guild of people report one person, the perosn gets banned and Amazon doesnt care to take a look at the evidence. Planning microtransactions in a game like this where you pay2play is just wrong, but whatever. Other than that the game is fun, but a bit buggy at this stage. I wouldnt be surprised if they ask for delay and release it by the very end of this year.
  • Recommended Posted September 12, 2021 on Steam Being an MMO fan, looking for that next group activity to discuss and talk about with friends - this seems like a good bet. The game is quite interesting in how its designed, it has a lot of potential for expansion, when taking into account the things you can do. Mind you, I didn't touch the PvP and it appears this is entirely up to you whether you participate or not (thank you, devs); you can be a PvE focused townbuilder, doing your craftsman work; while the PvP addicts go around stunlocking each other. Visually the game looks fantastic (see technical issues below), they use the full colour spectrum and its a blast to see. Overall for the game side of things - it's nice, it looks interesting, it sounds good (if the sound doesn't break partially, I've only seen one instance of this) and the world looks interesting and makes me want to explore it. As for the technical side of things... It runs about as well as Cyberpunk 2077 on a Nokia N-gage. Averaging around 50 FPS (high 90, low 30) when fully cranked at 1080p. The bottleneck is the CPU usage. The graphics card may as well be a GTX 1070. Another technical note is - while the game looks visually great; it is not to say that it's technically good. The graphics (specifically around reflections) could do with some work... As well as borderless windowed mode and perhaps more Anti-aliasing modes. Credit where it's due - the game didn't hard-crash at any point, at least not that I can remember. Last but not least though - the servers: Honestly - rock solid. I imagine the back-end hardware that will keep this game online is overbuilt and will rarely go down, if ever (considering that Amazon own and run Amazon Web Services). Overall - Yeah I'll buy it. Reviews didn't convince me of this, getting the chance to try the game myself did. It is oddly satisfying to play. Oh important note: You start out in one of what I think might be three randomised locations; if you want to team up with friends, you may need to all stop at level 1 and re-locate to one place (all the quests are accessible in all starting locations).
  • Recommended Posted September 12, 2021 on Steam SO far So good, needs more clean up and TLC, but its Open Beta. Over all has alot of potential and a good territory war mechanic. PVE is fair the PVP is good, questing is fair, Visual quality is good, sound quality is fair (did observe some bugging), Battle mechanics are still need alittle refinement but are functional. Crafting is fair but can be out dated by simply getting better items through questing and fighting, but if you have the mats (which can be a pain in the butt to get with out buying from the player driven market) you "may" (depends on your territories functionality and overall gains -also player driven) be able to build some pretty impressive Items. decently sized world, you can run from one side of the world to the other in one session of playing if you stay on the roads. without giving more away, overall the game has room for great clean ups and over all improvements that could really lend a hand to it being a good long lasting game. (recommend take your time to learn the game and join a company for Q&A and over all party up for PVE and especially PVP raids.)
  • Recommended Posted September 10, 2021 on Steam edit: i made this review at around 4 hours, and while the combat system seemed complex and fun, it is not as good as it appears. your character is only limited to 6 skills (3 per weapon), which is a downgrade from the mmorpg i played that had 20+ skills and required the usage of combos. the pvp is also very limited, the wars are only 50 v 50, and you cannot get into one unless you're a streamer. lol decent mmorpg! keep in mind that it's BETA! pros: -weapon/attribute skill system -large scale pvp -good balance of pvp/pve (from what i've seen) -good graphics -fun (not boring) -built in voice chat -cool features: own a house, factions, regional passives, etc . -no subscription -can choose any 2 weapons you'd like, and change at any time cons: -no mounts :( -glitchy sound system (beta) -lack of character customization -lack of mini map, and misplaced marks on the map -random rubberbanding -queue time (though i joined a busy server) -no costumes? (from what I've seen) -can only create one character? -can only use 3 skills max for each weapon (again, very limited combat.) -costs money (i'd say it's overpriced) -got stuck to the floor and unstuck didn't work -wars and guild membership of the top guilds require you to be a streamer apparently -appears they are making mounts for cash shop only, when it already costs
  • Recommended Posted September 11, 2021 on Steam Very good game just needs a few bug fixes and maybe a look at pvp in terms of how tanky or even how much damage dps weapons/classes do as hp seems a bit too high. Quite a bit of performance updates to up fps (especially in main towns) and it should be good to go.
