No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action. In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

  • Recommended Posted January 5, 2026 on Steam nms is one of the few games I actually enjoy in my downtime. its a genuinely cozy, slow‑paced space sandbox. the controls are a bit funky but easy enough for casual players, so we can jump in, build bases, upgrade ships and exocrafts, and automate resources without any rush. it isn’t completely bug‑free, but it’s stable enough for relaxed play. free, regular updates keep the content fresh, making it a solid, low‑stress way for us to unwind together. finally a game i can force my fiancee to play with me.
  • Recommended Posted February 7, 2026 on Steam OK, I'm in my 50s and have always hated resource gathering games. I picked up No Man's Sky (NMS) on a sale because I've been looking for a new space game for a while. Oh man, was I shocked. It took me a little bit to get the hang of some of the mechanics, but this game is fantastic. Why? Have you ever played a game that was almost whatever you wanted it to be? Well, this is it. Want to follow the story line? Go ahead. Want to forget it and build bases? Corvettes? Be the admiral of your own intergalactic fleet? A pirate? An explorer? An artist? What ever you want to be, you can do it here. This isn't the most graphically intensive game you'll ever play, but it's still one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. Every few days I stumble upon a new vista, overlooking a canyon on an abandoned moon, the planet rise of two neighboring celestial bodies, or something new I've never seen. It just happens over, and over, and over again. There are LITERTALLY more planets in this game than there are sands on the earth... the adventure is truly limitless. I can't go on about this game enough or the fantastic phoenix story it's become in the industry thanks to the unwavering support of its developers (thank you, Hello Games). It's a game that I tried on a whim but quickly became one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. Do I recommend it? You bet... I wish I'd done this years ago!
  • Recommended Posted December 7, 2025 on Steam Dear Sean Murray, Many years ago in a reddit thread I predicted you would leave the game in its initial state and just do the "I'm sorry, pay more money" I was wrong. My cynicism surrounding NMS was put to rest by the amazing game you and your team have created and continued to cultivate. Thank you for the hundreds of hours of exploring, building, and just absolute fun.

The latest one adding corvette class ships you can enter / exit at any time in space or on a planet. Sean and Co are absolute legends in my book. Thanks for many hours of entertainment.
