• Not recommended Posted October 9, 2025 on Steam This is a very fun game dont get me wrong, but it falls again in the Bandai Namco loop of a game having an incredibly solid foundation but then one day the devs looked at their half finished product and decided it was too boring to work on so they just released it as is. There are a lot of characters (a few of them are copies of others) but no actual costumes for ANY of the characters, even the main cast dont have alternate costumes. Overpriced DLC. Again, a ton of characters but not nearly enough content to allow you to really get a decent amount of usage out of most of them. Could've been an all time game but its really lacking a bunch of QOL. Also the pc port is ehhhhhhhhh

Nusjuro, and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter all in one frame as playable characters in the next PW series. The gameplay and skill movesets are much more fluid than in PW3, and the playable characters and skins are certainly becoming more diverse as the arc progresses. As usual, KOEI Tecmo, with its flagship genre "Musou - Hack 'n' Slash," has developed several major IPs such as Samurai Warrior, Warrior Orochi, and the Dynasty Warriors franchise. After this, I'll be releasing games waiting for like Fatal Frame 2 Remake, DWO DLC, and DW3 Remastered 💯
 • Recommended Posted March 7, 2026 on Steam I am going to be honest here this game is such a massive waste of time. You will have a good couple of hours of fun, but after that its just the same game loop over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
 • Recommended Posted March 27, 2026 on Steam if you're a one piece fan, this is your game. if you're not, still worth a shot. better than oppw3 in almost every way — smoother gameplay, improved movesets, noticeable graphics upgrade, and a bigger roster (yes, most are dlc, but still). main gripe: the growth map upgrade system. there's a bulk option but it only works per node. let me bulk upgrade the whole map at once, i'm begging. completion is a different story. treasure log, special log — all that stuff will eat dozens of hours. know your limits.
 • Recommended Posted February 10, 2026 on Steam One of the golden era dynasty warriors like games, and you don’t even need a Nintendo switch and 70 dollars for it. These types of games used to be my bread and butter. Absolutely loved back and slash games. I played a couple hundred hours on the switch and same with pc. That being said… It has its flaws, for one, there’s a lotta dlc, back when the game was first released, it got one pack pf dlc, 9 characters grouped in 3s. Then they chose to release a souls map update, three extra modes, and then some, everyone loved it. AND THEN, if that wasn’t enough, they released 5 more packs of 3 characters throughout the past couple years. It’s overwhelming, that’s for sure, So if you do buy it, you should start with basic edition. Then decide which dlc packs you enjoy before the end Now will you get 200 hours out of the main game? No, very much no. I spend a lotta time on end game. Is the story mode fleshed out and in depth? No to that too, although they do have their original wano arc (at the game’s release, the arc wasn’t complete yet) the story isn’t the main meal. The gameplay is what I bought this game for, and it’s very satisfying. The DLC packs VERY much help with making the game less stale. Although unless you really like the huge selection of characters, how a majority of them play, and it’s enough to keep you happy, you may arrive at a dead end at end game. After the story mode, treasure log, and special logs are done, you’re gonna not have anything to do.
Is it worth 40$?
To me, yes, but wait until it goes on sale to save some bucks. Don’t expect recent dlc to go on sale though.
Is having all the dlc worth it?
Most likely not, you don’t save too much money by buying the character pack passes, so just look through them and see what you like. I personally love dlc packs 8. 6, 5, and 4. Hope that helped you decide on whether to get it or not, and helped to explain some of the lore behind the updates.
 • Not recommended Posted January 24, 2026 on Steam You buy the game and you still have to spend tons of money on all the DLC, it's so stupid, and you have to be a real jerk to price DLC like that when the game is already expensive enough for what it is. I advise you against buying it, it's a rip-off unless you have 100 euros to spend. Oh, and I forgot, even if you have the biggest version, it doesn't mean it's the best. They'll add even more when there are even more DLCs to force you to buy them.
