  • Not recommended Posted June 16, 2025 on Steam It's definitely a "solve the build order" kind of game, which would be fine, but the game does not respect your time with missions being practically "solved" in 15 minutes but you must still wait for the exact win conditions to trigger for an hour on fast forwards (which is WAY TO SLOW). Meanwhile, each in-game day lasts like one minute, but the SAME MUSIC RESTARTS EACH DAY. This is how I imagine limbo is like. Maybe it gets better in later scenarios and I would love to try one of them to skip the "easy" levels but alas, they are locked. My wife gifted me this game because I like to play a builder game sometimes (e.g. Banished, Stronghold, Manor Lords) but I just can't stand this game, and now she's sad that I didn't like it, and that's your fault, devs! And I even like the boring games sometimes, e.g. Star Trucker! And I can't even refund this one since I wanted to give this game a chance but the missions are so long that it's too late now! Don't listen to people who say this game is stimulating unless by stimulating they mean the Chinese water droplet torture (the droplets being the same 12 bars of music).
  • Recommended Posted August 13, 2025 on Steam This is my absolute favorite game of all time. It is what has kept me sane through this last year of college, getting home and playing a random level, start to finish. Super relaxing and satisfying. One of the best management games by far, low pressure without feeling empty. Absolutely recommended for a short and sweet relaxing session every couple of nights. Plus the team is from my home country!! Love seeing jacarandas and palo borracho in game, as i also see them every morning from my window.
  • Recommended Posted October 23, 2025 on Steam A game that's quite a lot of fun with a ton of content (especially if you get the DLCs, which they just dropped the prices of!). It's a very interesting mix of cozy/simplified and demanding/complex (as exemplified by the "chill" and "tactical" UI options that sit alongside the standard one), and its tone is an interesting mix of "good vibes" and "life is hell." In some ways, it is to Tropico as Majesty was to Age of Empires.

  • Recommended Posted November 15, 2025 on Steam It's more of a puzzle than strategy game. There aren't really multiple ways to win, but by following the most efficient way or being close enough to it. There's plenty of DLCs that I wish would be included in base game instead (even if it'd mean higher price). It's mostly to graphics and the vibe of a living village. The music gets repeatitive fast. Some game mechanics / tasks aren't clear enough, like - more than 3 farms meaning separate/different crop plots within one farm and not actual farm buildings
  • Recommended Posted July 1, 2025 on Steam I love this game. It's perfect for me, i just wish there were more missions, especially in the dlc! I do wish the game would explain certain stuff a bit more. Otherwise, love it! I play this game to wake up to & fall asleep to. Really cozy and the only game i feel okay leaving but can't wait to start playing. It's not addictive, and i really really appreciate that.
