• Recommended Posted June 29, 2025 on Steam This game is awesome. I used it as a tool to help me quit smoking, (no joke) because it just makes time fly. Hours feel like minutes, days feel like hours. Plus its fun and the art style is cool. 9/10 ★★★★★★★★★✩
 • Recommended Posted December 4, 2025 on Steam What is there is very good. I definitely had some good fun. But there's one big downside; It's way too short for what it could have been. It feels like the world is just starting to open up and then it's over. Sure, you can continue to venture the open seas and build your ship further but for what? After the last island you even get new blueprints, but again, for what? The posibilities with this game are truely endless and yet the devs just dropped the ball and called it. I honestly have no idea why they never made any DLC or expansions cause I would gladly pay double for twice the content.
 • Recommended Posted August 10, 2025 on Steam I like this game because I do nothing and sit in the boat while my friends beat the game

 • Recommended Posted May 9, 2026 on Steam
From relaxing trash-hooking to a desperate struggle for survival.
Raft is an amazing experience , especially with friends. You start on four planks of wood and end up with a floating palace with its own garden. The progression is incredibly addictive, and exploring deserted islands and story locations has a great vibe. It’s one of those few games where even just staring at the ocean and hooking junk is actually fun
However, a few things are pretty annoying
That shark (Bruce) is a massive pain. You can build a ten story mansion, and he’ll still decide to munch on the exact piece of foundation where your grill is sitting. Also, the survival mechanics are quite punishing early on you spend more time eating and drinking than actually building. If you play solo, the grind is real, because you have to do everything yourself while trying to keep the raft from falling apart.
Still, it’s one of the best survival games I’ve ever played
