• Recommended Posted February 13, 2026 on Steam It's very good but *very* short, especially at this price. My playtime even includes wandering off for a sandwich and a dump.
• Recommended Posted February 17, 2026 on Steam Incredible expierence 4 hours game for 40 bucks is too much, buy this at sale and you will not regret it.
• Recommended Posted February 15, 2026 on Steam
This Is What Little Nightmares 3 Should've been
I cannot believe the difference in quality between this game and all the others. Everything here is leagues off the rest. The graphics are much more detailed, the atmosphere much darker and more immersive, the set pieces much more grand in scope and scale. Even the horror is much more effective here. They pulled no punches in disturbing visuals, and they didn't shy away from shining a light on very dark themes of suicide and war. The gameplay is also vastly expanded on with much bigger variety in movement and controls for each section. Even the added combat, while still basic, does well to enhance the pacing of each chapter. It makes the experience far less reliant on puzzles, especially compared to the little nightmares games. There's many more additions to gameplay I won't mention here for spoilers, but they are very very good. Unfortunately though, this game is very short. And as much as I wish it was longer, it’s short run time never left a mark on me because of how dense in content those short hours are. Yes it’s only 3-4 hours, but those few hours are jam-packed with some of the best content this franchise has to offer. What did leave a mark on me is the lack of polish in this game. I’ve encountered many bugs in my 4 hours of gameplay, few of which were severe enough to force a restart. The optimisation, while good most times, really fell short on some chapters/cutscenes. Lots of stuttering and FPS drops mixed with buggy visuals and controls really ruined some moments. These are far and few in between, but when they do happen, they really destroy the experience. Despite the bugs and rough spots, this is still an incredibly ambitious and impressive game. With more polish, it easily could’ve been something truly special but even as it stands, it delivers a dark, dense, and unforgettable experience. And that's why I highly recommend Reanimal. 8/10
• Not recommended Posted February 13, 2026 on Steam I just finished REANIMAL and I have two thoughts: 1- I had fun. 2- My wallet is now making sad animal noises. Let’s talk numbers, because this game clearly did. It’s $40, and I beat it in 4 hours. That’s basically $10 per hour. For that price, I expected the game to at least tuck me into bed and tell me I’m doing great. To be fair, the 4 hours I got were genuinely enjoyable. The pacing is tight, the experience is smooth, and it hits that satisfying “one more section” loop. It’s the kind of game you finish in one sitting and go, “Nice.” Then you check the time and go, “Wait… that’s it?” It feels like the game sprinted to the finish line, waved, and left the party early because it “has work tomorrow.” Meanwhile, I’m sitting there staring at the credits like: We barely know each other. Overall: fun, polished, good "scary" time. But it’s also short enough to qualify as a snack, and priced like it’s a full meal with dessert. If you grab it on sale, it’s a no-brainer. At full price, it’s still enjoyable… just know you’re paying premium rates for a weekend fling.
• Recommended Posted April 21, 2026 on Steam This game feels like a nightmare that doesn’t fully make sense, but you still don’t want to wake up. Everything feels slightly wrong. Not broken, just… off. No jumpscares. No chaos. Just quiet, constant discomfort. Loved it. Ps: Its a very short game, so be warned if you wanna spend 40 for like 4-5 hous of story. But i enjoyed it and can recommend this game.
• Not recommended Posted February 13, 2026 on Steam The game was fantastic. HOWEVER... it was 3 hours long. Any extra time I have is from pauses and just having the game open. I think $40 dollars for a 3 hour game that has been getting developed for this long is insane. Do not get the game unless you have money to burn, you're a massive fan of the little nightmares games, or it goes on sale.
