Not recommended Posted August 28, 2025 on Steam Consoomer simulator. Don't play if you value your time. The game features psychological tactics such as FOMO and Pay2Win. I do not recommend it. -
Not recommended Posted June 17, 2025 on Steam After 4300 hours, a ton of money, and countless hours invested, I received a permanent ban without any warning or notification. I didn’t cheat, I didn’t engage in any trading. I was simply playing on a friend’s account because he didn’t have time. There’s no way to talk things over with them, and they won’t refund any money. I don’t recommend this to anyone—years of effort gone to waste. -
Not recommended Posted November 27, 2025 on Steam Played the game years ago when it was browser only, had good memories. Now its one of the biggest p2w games out there. You can play on an old server and never catch up. Or you can play on a new server and even $1k wont let you keep up with most players. No new players join the game anymore, its just nostalgia chasing 30+ people swiping their rent to skip ads and idle time. Not even a game anymore. -
Not recommended Posted February 28, 2026 on Steam
More Mushroom Madness than Gameplay
On the surface, Shakes and Fidget presents itself as a humorous casual RPG, but it reveals itself as a bottomless money pit within a very short time. The term "Pay to Win" is almost an understatement here—the system follows the principle of "Pay to do anything." The Beginning and the Mushroom Trap The start is intentionally inviting: you create your character, complete the first adventures in the tavern, and enjoy the quick rewards. But the disillusionment follows promptly. As soon as your "Thirst for Adventure" is depleted, you are asked to pay. Anyone who wants to keep playing must invest mushrooms—the premium currency primarily purchased with real money. This mushrooms madness permeates every single mechanic of the game: Shops: Refreshing the inventory costs mushrooms. Mounts: Better rewards through faster travel cost mushrooms. Tavern: Continuing adventures costs mushrooms. Wheel of Fortune: Spinning costs mushrooms. Equipment: High-quality items cost mushrooms. Time Management: If you want to skip the arena cooldown, you pay with mushrooms. ...and so on and so mushrooms. Since mushrooms de facto equal real money, almost every click costs cash. There are more mushrooms required here than in all Super Mario games combined. Gameplay or Click Simulator? There is practically no actual challenge. The "gameplay" is limited to clicking icons in the tavern or WATCHING an automated battle in the arena of two Icons and damage nunmbers. The only sense of progress comes from finding new weapons every now and then, which become completely worthless after just two or three level-ups. It is a repetitive cycle without any depth that places zero demands on human intelligence. Real "gameplay" is virtually non-existent. Conclusion To be fair: if you are stuck in bed with a cold and looking for an activity that requires absolutely no mental effort, you might find some brief entertainment here. For any serious player, however, this title is a bitter disappointment. Due to the aggressive monetization and the gaping void in game design, Shakes and Fidget is one of the most boring and blatant pay-to-win games on the market. Not recommended Posted March 13, 2026 on Steam Read the EULA and immediately removed ts from my library lol. "Shakes and Fidget may delete user account if it decides the account has been offline for too long". Lol. Empty laughter. If they gave no clear boundaries or rules, then I am not playing. -
Not recommended Posted July 13, 2025 on Steam The gameplay loop becomes repetitive very quickly, offering little beyond daily grind. The art style, while distinctive, feels cheap, and humor falls flat after a while. Prepare for a significant pay-to-win aspect if someone actually intends to be competitive.
