Street Fighter 6
The evolution of fighting games starts with our traditional Fighting Ground, and then we're turning the genre on its head with World Tour and Battle Hub for a total of three modes where anyone can play to their liking. No one starts off as a champion. You get there step by step, punch by punch. Take up the challenge and bring your game to the next level.

Recommended Posted May 19, 2023 on Steam This could be my first Street Fighter game on PC. "Could be" only because around 20 years ago I competed with my cousin in a fighting game at his home, but I was a kid and didn't remember the title, our favorite was a guy with a long stick weapon like Goku. I'm prepared to get beaten here, mostly I do not bash keys unless I'm desperate - I passed (half of?)the training to understand how to make combinations (U+J, and I+K for special attack), but the counter and punishment key seems a mystery. The default character is Luke, you don't get to choose a character after you are paired but do it before a match. The instructions could be more clear, I got the answer in the world channel - Press "R" in the lobby to call a menu and there are 8 available. In the morning I tried a North America server and I found players at my level, that is, people not sure when to press the right key, practice in the real fight and blindly enjoy the beautiful graphics, and get lucky if any of us win. At night, I tried the Asia server and my God, I was like, losing 10 matches in a row to 4 different players all with a Japan flag next to their avatar. I can't even stand up, one mistake results in losing 2/3 of the health. My ego is badly hurt, I refuse to play with any Japanese players anymore lol. I went back to the training lab for the action list, which reminds me of the first day in a coding bootcamp. I'm playing with a keyboard and my hands hurt, though it may be the way to success. For me, I enjoyed the free beta since Street Fighter 6 is $59.99 and I don't think I'd pay half for a genre of game normally I don't play. For a complete rookie, I'd say the graphic looks nice, I tried 5 characters and even the same key triggers the same thing but Chun-Li seems to be doing more damage and has better fluency in my control, I can press U key and then chase leg attacks, making it a chain combo, though in the lobby mostly are using Ryo and Ken. I know they are popular, and I still had that Hadouken in my ear when I was bitten lol. Last, the beta offers access to Magic Sword in the arcade area. So much fun, I spent many hours when I was a kid and my favorite follower is that dragon shoots arrows. My curator page -

Recommended Posted May 22, 2023 on Steam Hate to admit it, but I had a ton of fun in the Street Fighter 6 beta. I genuinely can't get over how much better this game is over Street Fighter V. I love the defensive options and combo potential this game has. Also I LOVE this game encourages footsies. The quality of life features this game has is great. I love the music, the graphics, the style, everything about this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ swaggy. This game has insane potential to be one of the greatest fighting games of all time. Hope the final product is as good as this. -
