• Not recommended Posted March 24, 2026 on Steam 2000 hours, 3000 wins, played since season 1 Im just an old guy, I dont know anything about cheating in video games. I get permanently suspended for cheating out of the blue, their anti cheat is broken and banning innocent players, after 9 days waiting for their support ticket they told me they trust in their anti cheat system and kept me banned. I was very polite and patient about the support ticket I was certain they would see the mistake and revert the ban but i was met with Ai slop responses. This game was one of my favourites, absolutly heartbroken over this. My Finals, My Finals, why have you forsaken me? it is finished.
• Recommended Posted October 3, 2025 on Steam The Finals is not only fun, but also runs great on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS using Proton Experimental without requiring extra tweaks. Since it’s rated "Gold" on ProtonDB, it should also work reliably on many other Linux distributions with minimal configuration.
• Recommended Posted July 21, 2025 on Steam As someone with over 300 Hours on the game, it honestly sucks seeing The Finals drop in player count when it’s probably the most original shooter we’ve gotten in years. The destruction, the chaos, the movement, it's a breathe of fresh air. It’s not trying to copy & paste what every other FPS is doing, or just making a re-skin of existing games like other developers are doing with games like Marvel Rivals just being Overwatch but different characters. The Finals actually has its own identity, which is so rare these days. What I also really respect is how much the devs actually listen to feedback. You can tell they’re reading what the community says. Whether it’s about balance, bugs, or just overall game feel. If one weapon is too OP, they don’t just instantly nerf it into the ground. Sometimes they buff something else or tweak other mechanics around it instead. It’s clear they’re trying to balance the game smartly, not just reactively. I’m mainly a light player, and the amount of creativity you have in fights is insane, and it makes every match feel different. I know a lot of people put hate on Light players as the class can seem over powered compares to the other builds. But the developers have actively tried to balance it with each new season, reworking items like the Evasive Dash, and Cloaking Device which people constantly say is overpowered. The community was complaining about the Stun Gun as it was broken tbf. Embark temporarily removed it to try and balance it, but it proved too difficult to nerf without making it useless, and so they opted to change it to the Nullifier, changing it's purpose and ability. I believe this balanced the game and was a clever way to go about it. If you’ve been bored of the usual FPS grind, I seriously recommend jumping into The Finals. There’s no better time. It’s got style, it’s got brains, and it’s actually a blast to play. Just hoping more people give it the second look it deserves.

• Recommended Posted November 24, 2025 on Steam I can't believe how many people claim this to be one of the best shooters to ever release..... AND THEN DON'T PLAY IT. This is one of the best shooters I have ever played, it is so much fun and such a unique experience.
