  • Recommended Posted August 24, 2025 on Steam The survival and crafting systems are fantastic, but the AI enemies can feel a bit overwhelming at times. Playing co-op makes it much more fun than solo.
  • Recommended Posted September 23, 2025 on Steam This game has been with me on my library as the first ever game i got on Steam, almost 9 years ago. and 9 years after my father bought it for me when i was 11 I never imagined that it would've been my favourite adventure. 9 years later, i'm now 20. My father left me behind and I did the all trophies run with a friend. I giggled when the "worst father" achievement popped up with a bittersweet taste but it was funny, the entire run revolved into the running gag that we were parents that forgot they had a kid at some point. But now, that i finally 100'd this game 9 years later, minus 1 dad but a ♥♥♥♥ ton of memories i'll give two advices for this game 1. just buy this game, honestly 16£ si really affordable for a game this quality (played the entirety in medium textures and it was still good the cave textures and atmosphere are incredible, you have enough hints to get the lore fully if you get almost all notes and items scattered in the map and creatures, my god the creatures were so terrifying yet so familiar 2. Play it solo or make it duo : If you want to immerge yourself in the story, then solo run is the most optimal, however coop is the best one for the full trophy run, the game become significantly less boring, scary (still some jumpscares) it's really cool and building big structures are really easier (there are the dev mode if you want to make the wait for the 100 days better too) and the coop brings so much good memories and funny moments that will probably make your day better Thank you Endnight for this amazing game that lived almost half of my entire life, i'll surely play more, because even after finishing the game, you never truly leave The forest. Have a great adventures ! and be weary, there might be eyes piercieng the bushes, observing you in The forest Thanks dad
  • Recommended Posted March 15, 2026 on Steam Plane crashes. Everyone dies. Except you. And your missing kid, which the game politely reminds you about every 3 minutes. Your mission: find your son. What you actually do: build a 5-star wooden mansion chop 847 trees become a professional rabbit hunter accidentally become the local cannibal slayer First day: “Nice survival game, let’s build a small shelter.” 🌲 Night 1: WHY ARE THERE NAKED PEOPLE SCREAMING IN THE FOREST Then you meet the locals (cannibals): they scream they run at you they watch you from the trees like creepy National Geographic hosts Later the game introduces mutants like: Armsy – a walking spaghetti monster made of arms Virginia – a spider lady that runs faster than your will to live Meanwhile you’re just trying to cook a lizard. Pros: amazing survival gameplay terrifying at night multiplayer chaos with friends Cons: I completely forgot I had a son to rescue 10/10 Stayed for survival. Left with deep forest paranoia. 🌲😐

  • Recommended Posted January 21, 2026 on Steam I start by building a nice house and gathering sticks. A few nights later I’m naked, house gone, scared, and being chased by things that absolutely should not exist.
