Recommended Posted July 13, 2025 on Steam Finished it on day May 12th Continuing the Turok franchise at which sadly i dont play when i was kid but the best thing is always good when you play first time than sometimes playing only few gameplays of it The second turok it's pretty great and very good, you have a lot of weapons and few powers but the map design of this game is totally COMPLEX, it means those are very hard puzzles and confusing map designs that will make you annoyed or bored of game at which the only thing to help you it's watching youtube gameplays of it it's totally normal feel frustrated since the game was make for be hardcore and only those who love are the skilled ones, but you will only get frustrated as long you advance in the game not so early For being remaster the graphics are excellent and simples, all loyal originally and very good for have the fun and vibes of years 90s if you as me its oldschool and loves classic games then please bought this game as well all turok games if you like first turok and want to continue with all its story, it's worth a lot of money for this greatest game ever. -
Recommended Posted September 6, 2025 on Steam Turok 2: Seeds of Evil takes a clear step forward in quality. Gameplay feels smoother, the story is more engaging, and levels are bigger, beautifully remade, and visually impressive. At the same time, they can be challenging and maze-like, which will be exciting for some players but frustrating for others. The game rewards patience and careful exploration, offering a more demanding yet satisfying adventure compared to the first remaster. The biggest downside is that the game is locked at 60 FPS. Luckily, new technology can bypass this limit, so the game can still feel smoother. -
Not recommended Posted September 21, 2025 on Steam Not sure why, but this game struggles to run with an Intel GPU. That's a shame. -
Not recommended Posted August 9, 2025 on Steam Nightdive is a great studio filled with talented people who obviously care about game preservation, and I admire them for what they have done with their releases so far. However, there is just so much wrong with this game on a fundamental level that I don't think it can be saved. The level design is atrocious. Every level feels like a giant, tedious maze to get through. The original Turok game (which Nightdive has also remastered on Steam) is a much better purchase. -

Recommended Posted November 16, 2025 on Steam What a game this was when it first came out. I thank Nightdive Studios for being able to bring this to modern systems. I remember when my dad had trouble figuring out how to unlock a secret in a level. I suggested shooting everything, and wouldn't you know it even non-combatants can help unlock a secret here. This game brings back a lot of memories, and I played a small amount of multiplayer back then when it ran on (I believe) it was connected through 'ole GameSpy. I don't think I have all the jewel cases for these games anymore - Shadow Warrior, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Half Life - these were the games I remember seeing often being played at the house before the whole internet thing took off. I will have to play through 1, 2 and 3 soon. In their entirety. :D
