Recommended Posted January 12, 2026 on Steam Unturned was more than just a game for me. I started playing it back in the beta days, when it was simple, clean, and full of charm. The blocky graphics had personality, the survival gameplay was fun, and the game felt special. You could play for hours without getting bored, especially with friends. It didn’t need realism to be good — it was simply fun. Up until around 2018, Unturned was an amazing game. The community felt more united, servers were full, and updates added content without ruining the core of the game. For me, it was the game of my childhood, full of great memories, late nights on classic maps, and moments that really mattered. Sadly, after that period, things started to go downhill. Bad updates, unnecessary changes, and questionable decisions slowly pushed old players away. The community became more toxic, and the game lost its original direction. Even if the developer, Nelson, may have had good intentions, in my opinion the game was ruined by updates that no longer respected what made Unturned special. Unturned will always have a place in my heart, but not for what it is today — for what it used to be. A simple, beautiful game that defined a part of my childhood and created memories I’ll never forget. -

Recommended Posted November 27, 2025 on Steam This was THE game I would always play when I was a kid and first got a pc. My first pc was too crap to run almost anything besides roblox and THIS. I've loaded countless of hours into this game, spent alot of time collecting skins, played hundreds of servers, made several servers, lost and gained friends, I even streamed this game for a fat minute. I loved everything about this game, and although I dont play it anymore I still love this game and would suggest it to anyone -
