We Were Here Too

We Were Here Too

We Were Here Too is an online only, first-person cooperative adventure set in a fictional medieval castle. The survivors find themselves in a drastically different scenario. One is trapped in what seems like a royal court, while the other finds themselves in an abandoned tomb. Once again, all they have is a walkie-talkie, with a familiar voice on the other end. Do you have what it takes to survive the castle… together with your friend?

  • Not recommended Posted September 22, 2025 on Steam My partner and I simply did not enjoy playing this game. It is riddled with bugs that cause softlocks, forcing you to restart the game, but the checkpoints don't work and take you back two rooms.
  • Recommended Posted April 25, 2026 on Steam This game is less of a puzzle-solver and more of a "how long can I talk into a radio before my friend loses their mind" test. You’re trapped in separate rooms, desperately trying to describe a weird symbol that looks like a pregnant spider, while your partner is screaming because they’re about to be drowned or crushed. Communication is everything, but somehow you’ll realize that you and your best friend speak two completely different languages. It’s a terrifying and brilliant experience where the real enemy isn't the castle, but your friend’s inability to distinguish between "circle" and "oval." Verdict: We survived the puzzles, but we’re not speaking to each other anymore.
  • Not recommended Posted February 23, 2026 on Steam The timed labyrinth puzzle, where one person directs while the other person runs, is quite possibly the worst co-op puzzle in any co-op puzzle game ever in a popular puzzle game franchise. It's even worse than the earlier cube-based puzzle. It relies on: 1) instantaneous telepathy, 2) that your partner sees where you are with 0 nanosecond latency between your computers, or 3) Memorizing the pathing ahead of time, which defeats the entire purpose of playing co-op. The cutoff on the timer is so tight that after the 1st or 2nd chain, there is absolutely NO room for hesitation whatsoever. I even had moments where I didn't hesitate, went exactly where I needed, and it still cut me off just as I stepped on the platform. I don't normally rage-quit puzzle games, but this is designed so absolutely, entirely, abysmally, that I can't in all good conscience subject myself nor my wife to continuing it. It's hugely disappointing that the developers didn't fix this flaw in the design in patches, especially when everyone has to pay double for this game to be able to play together, and it's much too late to get a refund.
  • Not recommended Posted August 8, 2025 on Steam Absolute bugfest. The game kept crashing. The puzzles are counter-intuitive. Can't believe the 1st game, which was free-to-play, was way better and less bugged.
  • Recommended Posted December 7, 2025 on Steam My daughter and I played the whole set of these games and we absolutely love them. I hope they make more
