Not recommended Posted December 25, 2025 on Steam Relist the games Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami Legacy and Yakuza Kiwami 2 Legacy!!! Relist the Points Shop, which are for these games! All the items and wallpapers!!!!! It is not right and fair for many gamers to delist these games and their Points Shop! At least bring the same Points Shop back! Do something in this direction!!!! Show that you care! Show that we aren't nothing to you, because we are many! Please, with respect and dignity! -
Not recommended Posted January 11, 2026 on Steam Great game, awful rerelease. The newly added cutscenes do nothing for the story. In fact I'd say some of them harm it. Play the original if possible, but if not then this is fine. Also delisting the original is scummy af -
Not recommended Posted February 15, 2026 on Steam Yakuza 0 was perfect. Delisting the original and making this was not necessary at all. The only reason I bought this is cus I had to buy yakuza series bundle, cus now that they delisted Yakuza 3, buying it is only available through the bundle. -
Not recommended Posted December 18, 2025 on Steam This whole thing could've been DLC. Instead they invalidate your old saves and hike up the price of the full game for extra 20 minutes of pointless cutscenes. I love this game, I love this series, but this is a really scummy move. -
Not recommended Posted January 3, 2026 on Steam I'm not going to comment on the delistings, the price for value over the original, or the underlying game itself (it's a classic), there are plenty of reviews on that. I'll be addressing the problems with this release as its own $50 product in 2025 and especially as a remaster. This is not an updated version and it's actually worse on a technical level than the original. 1. Graphical issues like an extremely ugly DOF (it is objectively awful, like someone smeared Vaseline over the image) that cannot be removed without the use of external programs. There's also a mod you need for "true" HD character models. As well, sometimes there are issues with shadows and textures. 2. Resolution is capped at 4k 16:9 resolution or 1444p 21:9 resolution. That is just ridiculous for a remaster released in 2025. It's excusable for the original version (2015) but not this one. 3. No new graphics options at all. Only SSAA, FXAA (no smaa, msaa, or taa), texture filtering, Shadow Quality, Geometry Quality, and FOV. You don't get choices in even the types, just a general level setting. The game either assumes everyone is running the exact same hardware they had on the original release or they literally didn't make any updates. 4. Around 95gb file size for a game running upscaled PS3 era graphics (the game was built for that console era and these aren't new textures in this version, just higher res supposedly) is insanity. It's almost 4x the size of the original and I cannot tell you why when this seems to have basically the same fidelity of the original release (but worse) with the same recommended specs. 5. Unoptimized. How is a game built to run rock solid on 2006 hardware with me having specs significantly higher (RTX 5070ti and a 9800X3D) than the recommended (GTX 1070 and a Ryzen 5 2500X) now runs worse than the original and can't reach max framerate for my monitor even at a lower than max resolution when the original release ran better even with upscaling mods? From a quick check the game isn't even using half my GPU's power and almost none of my CPU, so this seems to be a problem with the engine I guess. 6. They couldn't be bothered to even increase the cutscenes framerate to 60fps. And you need a mod to trick the game into always using the highest res cutscenes as it sometimes decides to ignore your quality settings without it. There are probably more issues I haven't seen yet. This is all from literally just the beginning of the game. At the moment it is a terrible release on a technical level for $50 as a standalone product from a major studio or as a supposed remastered/updated version. -
Not recommended Posted December 25, 2025 on Steam just buy the legacy yakuza 0 from gog and it will be only 20 gb and besides its both cheaper and it wont disappoint you like this game did to me
